WHO WE HELP

At Pikes Peak Family Counseling, we provide therapy for teens and young adults in Colorado Springs, with telehealth available throughout Colorado, along with support for the parents walking alongside them.

We work with students ages 11–21 who are navigating school, relationships, identity, and the growing pressure of everyday life. Care is shaped around each stage of development, with space for both independence and guidance.

If you are unsure whether this is the right fit, you are always welcome to reach out. We approach each situation individually.

WHAT WE HELP WITH

Growing up comes with a lot to carry, and it does not always show up in obvious ways.

Some students come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or academic pressure. Others feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of themselves.

We also work with students navigating depression, identity development, and self-worth, as well as those experiencing disordered eating or patterns that feel hard to talk about. When thoughts feel heavy or unclear, we focus on creating safety, understanding, and a path forward.

Life changes such as grief, loss, and major transitions can shift everything. We help students process those experiences while building steadiness in the present.

Our work also includes trauma-informed therapy, burnout, school-life balance, and emotional regulation. Pikes Peak Family Counseling is an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ students, where identity exploration is met with respect, clarity, and care.

When it is helpful, we include parents in the process so that progress in therapy translates into meaningful change at home and beyond.

At Pikes Peak Family Counseling, our work is centered around in person therapy. There is something meaningful about being in the same space, and it is often where connection and progress build most naturally.

At the same time, we understand that life does not always allow for that.

Telehealth is available for students and families across Colorado when flexibility is needed. Whether it is a busy school schedule, illness, travel (within Colorado), or living outside of Colorado Springs, virtual sessions can help maintain consistency without interrupting care.

Many students use a combination of both, meeting in person when they can and shifting to telehealth when needed. Our goal is to keep therapy steady, accessible, and aligned with real life.
